Hala FM Visits Al Hussein Orphanage in Alashrafyyeh and Hands out Gifts to Workers and Kids

As Part of its Mother’s Day Special Program, a team from Hala FM, accompanied by the presenter and producers of the radio’s popular morning show Gawwak Ya Urdon, paid a visit on Wednesday March 19, 2011 to Al Hussein Orphanage located in Jabal Al-Ashrafyyeh – Amman. After touring the orphanage’s facilities, the team handed out to orphans and workers gifts provided by Cozmo and Khawla Al Armouti.
This visit was organized in the occasion of Mothers Day with the aim of honoring the workers who are doing a great job taking care of orphans, in addition to proving those children that the whole society care about them.
‘Those workers are doing a great, yet not easy job that should be highly recognized by the whole community. They really deserve to be honored’. Said Mahmoud Al Hoyan during his show on Hala FM. He also added: ‘It is also a great feeling to be able to draw smiles on those children’s faces. After giving the gifts away, a number of the orphans stretched their hands out for hugs from our team. That was wonderful to see!’
A special segment within ‘Gawwak Ya Urdon’ - Mother’s Day special episode aired on Monday, March 21st 2011 - was allocated for this visit. During this segment, Hala FM presented to its listeners the proceedings of this visit and the interviews conducted with the orphans, the management, and the workers. This Mother’s Day episode also included many other segments meant to honor moms in particular, and to serve the Jordanian community that Hala FM, the Jordanian Armed Forces radio station, is always seeking to serve.
Hala FM Draws a Smile on the Faces of Wadi Shuaib Elementary School Students

A team from Hala FM, presented by the presenter of “Gawwak Ya Urdon” morning show Mr. Mahmoud Al Hoyan accompanied by the program’s producers, visited on Thursday March 17th, 2011 Wadi Shuaib Elementary School which is considered as one of the Kingdom’s less fortunate schools.During their visit, the team distributed gifts for school’s students and teachers, and handed some special valuable gifts for the school’s underprivileged students.
This school visit was organized as part of the station’s Mother Day special program, with an aim of giving those children the opportunity to feel the joy of the mother’s day, such as any other child.
